Welcome to Sync ("Sync", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Sync website, Android dating application, accounts, nearby discovery features, matching, messaging, and related services.
By creating an account, accessing Sync, or using any Sync service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use Sync.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sync, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and any policies referenced within them.
Who Can Use Sync?
Sync is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the dating and discovery features available through Sync.
By using Sync, you represent that the information you provide regarding your age and eligibility is accurate.
Accounts found to belong to users under the age of 18 may be restricted or removed.
About the Sync Dating Service
Sync is a dating and social discovery service designed to help adults discover other users, express interest, make mutual connections, and communicate through available messaging features.
Location-based features may use your permitted location information and discovery preferences to help show relevant profiles.
Sync does not guarantee that you will receive matches, messages, responses, dates, relationships, or any particular result from using the service.
User Accounts
Certain Sync features require you to create and maintain a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login credentials.
When creating or maintaining an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about yourself.
- Keep your account information reasonably current.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Not allow another person to impersonate you through your account.
- Not create an account for fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful purposes.
Profiles and User Content
Sync may allow you to create a profile and upload information such as photos, interests, preferences, profile details, messages, and other content.
You remain responsible for the content you choose to upload, publish, send, or otherwise make available through Sync.
You must not upload or share content that:
- Violates applicable law.
- Infringes another person's rights.
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or intentionally misleading.
- Contains malicious software or harmful code.
- Is used to harass, threaten, exploit, or abuse another person.
- Violates these Terms or applicable Sync safety policies.
Matching, Discovery and Messaging
Sync provides features that may allow users to discover profiles, express interest, make mutual connections, and communicate with other users.
You are responsible for your interactions and communications with other users.
A profile, match, message, or interaction appearing through Sync should not be interpreted as an endorsement, verification, or guarantee regarding another user's identity, intentions, conduct, compatibility, or safety.
Location-Based Discovery
With your permission, Sync may use approximate or precise location information to provide nearby discovery and other location-based functionality.
You may be able to control location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location access may affect the availability or accuracy of certain nearby discovery features.
Acceptable Conduct
You agree to treat other users respectfully and use Sync only for lawful purposes.
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or abuse another user.
- Impersonate another person or intentionally misrepresent your identity.
- Use Sync to conduct scams, fraud, or deceptive activities.
- Collect, scrape, copy, or misuse information belonging to other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account or to Sync systems.
- Upload viruses, malicious code, or other harmful technology.
- Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of Sync.
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to misuse the service.
- Use Sync for unlawful activities.
Dating and Personal Safety
Users should use appropriate judgment when communicating with people online or deciding to meet another user in person.
Sync cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, statements, or behavior of every user.
When meeting someone for the first time, consider meeting in a public place, informing someone you trust about your plans, and avoiding sharing sensitive personal or financial information until you are comfortable doing so.

Blocking, Reporting and Moderation
Sync may provide tools that allow users to block or report other accounts or content.
Reports may be reviewed to investigate potential violations, abuse, fraud, safety concerns, or other prohibited activity.
Where appropriate, Sync may restrict features, remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access to the service.
Service Communications
Sync may send communications that are necessary to operate your account or provide the service, including account verification, security information, service notifications, and other account-related communications.
Intellectual Property
The Sync website, application, branding, designs, software, graphics, text, and other service materials are owned by or licensed for use by Sync and may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless permitted by law or expressly authorized, you may not:
- Copy or reproduce protected Sync content.
- Distribute or commercially exploit Sync materials without permission.
- Modify or create unauthorized derivative works from Sync materials.
- Use Sync branding or trademarks in a misleading or unauthorized manner.
Third-Party Services and Links
Sync may use or link to third-party services that support features such as hosting, analytics, notifications, communications, or other platform functionality.
Third-party services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Sync is not responsible for the content or independent practices of third-party websites or services.
Service Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of Sync from time to time.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or network.
Account Suspension and Termination
Sync may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that a user has violated these Terms, applicable law, or platform safety requirements.
Action may also be taken where necessary to protect users, investigate abuse or fraud, maintain platform security, or comply with legal requirements.

Users may request deletion of their Sync account and associated information subject to applicable legal, security, fraud prevention, and retention requirements.

Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sync and its services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific dating outcomes, matches, responses, compatibility between users, or the conduct of other users.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sync shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes to Sync, applicable requirements, or our practices.
Updated Terms will be posted on this page together with a revised "Last Updated" date. Where required, additional notice may be provided.
